Singapore Airlines have posted a good business class deal to cities across Australia in the first 4 months of 2021. With some dates 11 months away, we think there’s a chance some Europeans may be eligible to enter Australia on tourists visas by then. You can read more about our visits to Australia in our destination guide for April.
Destinations
Return prices in business class from Oslo or Stockholm
- Perth – £2,050 / €2,285
- Melbourne – £2,060 / €2,295
- Sydney – £2,074 / €2,310
- Brisbane – £2,071 / €2,305
The Catch
There are two stops on the outbound and on the return (Copenhagen first, then Singapore). If you don’t live in the Oslo or Stockholm areas then you’ll also need to pay to fly there first.
While coronavirus remains a threat, airline lounges may be closed at airports and in-flight meal services may be reduced or removed on some routes. Check with Singapore Airlines to be sure you’re getting a Business Class deal worth having.

Singapore Airlines is part of Star Alliance, so we’d recommend crediting to Miles & More or KrisFlyer.
BG1 Verdict
Even if you’re unconvinced about booking, these fares should at least reassure you that good deals may still be found in the post-coronavirus era. £55 per flying hour for a 5-star airline falls well within our preferred business class fare thresholds. We rate this fare a BUY.
BG1 Tip
Book on an American Express Membership Rewards Gold or Platinum card to earn an additional 2,000 KrisFlyer Miles on the booking.
Take advantage of the free stopovers rule by breaking your journey at any of the transit points – Copenhagen or Singapore.
